The 2010-2011 school year begins on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 8:25 AM. All students are to arrive through the schoolyard to begin the new school year. Letters were sent home during the week of August 23, 2010 that provided details on the start time, official class period, and official class room. Intensive SAT Test Prep Classes
Beginning September 11

Long Island City, NY—August 26, 2010—To help high school students prepare for the December 4th SAT exam, LaGuardia Community College’s Teen Academy is offering Saturday intensive test prep classes, beginning September 11.
The course, which runs through November 20, prepares students for both sections of the test: Critical Reading/Writing and Math. Classes, which run from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will he held in the college’s main building at 31-10 Thomson Avenue, Long Island City.
